Bean, Blue Lake Bush Green Bean. Certified Organic. Plump, tender pods
with slow developing seeds for a long harvest season. Resistant to
mosaic viris. 58 days.
Bean, French Garden Bush Green Bean. Certified Organic. Long, thin snap beans grow on a compact bush. Usually harvested early while young and
tender.
Broccoli, De Cicco. Certified Organic. Open-Pollinated. Old reliable European variety, 2-3
feet tall light green plants. Small main heads followed by many side
shoots. Harvest main head when about 3 inches to encourage side shoot
production. Good for spring or fall crop. Non-uniform in maturity,
more variable and more productive than hybrids, excellent quality. 48
days.
Broccoli, Green Sprouting Calabrese. Certified Organic. Standard
Calabrese type, large blue-green cauliflower-like central heads, good side shoot
production, for bunching and home gardens, early heavy producer. 60-90 days.
Carrot, Danvers. A late season multipurpose variety. Seven to eight inch long carrots are excellent for processing, fresh market and home garden. Resistant to heat, cracks and splits. Very productive and adaptable to most soils. 75 days.

Cucumber, Straight Eight. Certified Organic. All-America Selections Winner. Early,
vigorous and productive. Eight inch cucumbers are great for salads,
slicing or making pickles. 58 days.
Eggplant, Long Purple Eggplant. Open-pollinated, dark purple,
productive Italian type. Ideal for slicing and frying. Fruits are 8
inches long by 2-1/2 inches in diameter. Plants are tall and upright
with 4 or more fruits per plant. 75 days.
Lettuce, Black Seeded Simpson Leaf Lettuce. Certified Organic. Black Seeded Simpson is
an old favorite - both because of it's flavor and because of it's
earliness. Large upright plants with large loose light green lightly
crumpled leaves. Inner leaves blanch almost white. Full sized leaves
can be harvested in just a little over a month and "greens" can be
harvested in three weeks. Withstands a lot of adverse conditions
including some drought, some frost, and some heat. 40 days.
Lettuce, Marvel of Four Seasons. Certified Organic.
Stunning reddish leaves flaunting cranberry red tips with excellent
flavor make this lettuce a must for your garden. If you are looking
for a lettuce that is both attractive and tasty, this heirloom may be
your choice. Medium-large heads with reddish foliage and cranberry
tinged tips. Bolts quickly in warm weather but holds its excellent
flavor. Good container variety. 55 days.
Lettuce, Paris Island Cos. Certified Organic. This old
favorite has crunchy, green leaves and a creamy white heart. They
like cool weather so sow the seeds in the early spring or wait until
late summer for a fall crop. Self blanching, vigorous and mosaic
tolerant. 68 days.
Okra, Burgundy. Certified Organic. Attractive 4-5 foot plant with green leaves
and burgundy stems branches and leaf ribs, tender 6-8 in. burgundy pods, good
yields.
Pea, Oregon Sugar Pod II. Certified Organic. Edible pod pea.
Highly disease resistant. Only reaches 28" high, does not requite a trellis to
grow. Harvest 5" pods early, before the peas form. Good in stir-fries and
frozen. 65 days.
Pepper, California Wonder Bell. Particularly good for stuffing but
also tasty enough for salads. California Wonder is an excellent sweet
bell for cold climates. In longer season climates, peppers turn
bright red after green. An excellent freezer. Also a good container
variety. 75 days.
Pepper, Marconi Red. Certified Organic. Large Italian sweet red pepper.
Peppers grow to be 12" long! Great on the grill or in salads. 70-90 days.
Pumpkin, Small Sugar. Certified Organic. Small round pumpkins,
flattened at ends, very finest quality, 6 x 7 inch diameter, 6 - 8 pounds, thick
sweet orange-yellow fine-grained flesh, best variety for general use, excellent
for pies and canning, good keeper. 90-115 days.
Radish, Cherry Belle. Certified Organic. Perfect 1 inch round red
radishes. Very fast growing. 22 days.
Radish, Daikon. Certified Organic. Mino Early Long. Giant
Oriental radish. Long white roots grow to 14 inches without getting
tough and pithy, but can be harvested starting at 6 inches long.
Flesh is juicy, mild and crisp.
Spinach, Bloomsdale. Certified Organic. Likes cool weather so sow the seeds in the
spring or wait until late summer for a fall crop. An old favorite
with excellent flavor that produces large quantities of tasty,
crinkly leaves. Very nutritious with vitamin A, C and iron. Can also
be grown in containers. 45 days.
Summer Squash, Crookneck. Certified Organic. Semi open plant with smooth, light yellow,
curve-necked fruits. Creamy white, sweet, mild flesh with excellent
